Ok so I have a 20 Tundra 1794 and a 20 4runner TRD ORP which both have the smart handle. On my Tundra I can lock by grabbing the handle and putting my thumb over the 3 lines but I can't on the 4runner, is that normal? Either way I learned a trick on Tundras.com to open all doors when you grab one handle to get in. Unfortunately our 4runner is in the body shop so could someone try this for me? Have your doors locked and while standing next to the vehicle hold the lock and unlock button on the fob simultaneously for 5 seconds until you hear two beeps. If it does this on the 4runner like it did on my Tundra then all doors should unlock when you grab any smart handle instead of just that door.

On my 20 ORP, I just use 2 fingers on the three little lines on the handle, and all the doors lock. I don't remember if it came this way, or if I programmed it using the remote.

Does yours only unlock the door that you grab? Mine does and so did my Tundra but I just tried the method mentioned above and now all doors unlock. I was wondering if this works for the 4runner but unfortunately ours is at the body shop so I can't test it.

What's a 1794 Tundra? Does it come with a triangle hat or something?

So when you're vehicle is locked and you grab your driver's handle all doors unlock? Mine only unlocks the door I grab. My Tundra did the same until I did this "trick".

1794 and Platinum are the top trim levels for Tundra.

Now that I think about it, I did do the trick with the 2 beeps to make all doors unlock and lock.

    All of them.
Idk about pre 2020 but in the radio is a setting that you change for all doors to unlock when you grab the handle. If that helps. I’ll try and grab a pic of the screen. Mine lights up when I get near the truck with my fob and then when I grab the handles all 5 doors unlock.

My ‘16 limited can unlock/lock all doors with drivers/passenger door.

but I can’t open all 4 with the fob with one click. Need to double click.
