Good morning. I'm still going through my 1st 4Runner, a 2010 Limited. I'm in NC but this thing endured PA winters for 15 years so, even with underbody spray, rusty bolts have been fun to work with. Now that it's cooler I plan on getting under there to wire brush and spray Woolwax on any bare parts.

I've replaced removed the stock KDSS suspension with Eibach Pro. A weekend warrior who camps and parks on beaches; I ran Bilsteins on a Grand Cherokee with 3" long arms before but find this to ride nicer. (Rear height left stock / Front up 1"). Replaced the rear window seal, replaced all rusted calipers with red, installed new EBC rotors and brakes and just ordered rear wheel backplates as well as a new washer reservoir with pumps.

    Wheels & Tires:
Based on my reading, I think this wheel/tire combo will fit without rubbing but am running it by you all 1st while the (unboxed) new rims can still be changed if needed.
    Tires: 265/70R17
    Wheels: Relations Race Wheels, RR7-H: 0 offset | 4.75"

    Stock 20" wheels = 7" wide +15 offset
    RRW 17" wheels = 8.5" wide 0 offset

This gives you: -4mm LESS inside, meaning the inner wheel lip is 0.158" closer to the spindle
This gives you: +34mm MORE outside, meaning the outer lip of the wheel is 1.343" further away from the hub

With the size tires you are talking you are basically a stock size tire, so yeah with a 1" lift they shouldnt rub except maybe on a flex in a turn. You might need to pin the fender liners forward which is a quick 2-3 minute job with a little 1/4" impact and you might have to remove the mud flaps but i doubt it.

That's great news. I thought so but then guess I was overthinking it this morning and cringed thinking the wheels might stick out further causing a problem. lol Thanks, Airdam!

I bought a similar size wheel with a zero offset (mine is 9" wide instead of 8.5"). Put on Falken AT4 in 265/70R 17. I have an approx 2" lift. It rubs very rarely and only under certain circumstances. e.g. reversing, full lock and compress the suspension.

Does not rub enough for me to do anything about it. I have a '23 ORP.
