Nothing turned up in a search about this, so sorry if this has come up, please show me link if its discussed...

For offroading in my 07 Sport Ed I rarely wore my seatbelt (beach, slow rolling, frequent in and out for photography and fishing) and there was never an audible seatbelt chime. The 07 retired last month...

I just got an 08 SR5, and noticed while driving off-road that the seatbelt chime does not shut off until I insert the belt. Is there an easy way to disable this? I suppose I could just sit with the belt inserted and behind me, but would rather disable it. On-road or on unfamiliar terrain I always wear the belt and don't need a chime to remind me, but this is a PIA for offroad usage.

    Thanks

Ha, I did not! I actually have a dog belt that I can use. That said, I'd still like to disable the chime if anyone has an idea? Thanks Photon

I'll try it and let you know. Been using the dog seat belt in the meantime. Thanks Abe!
