Can anyone help me on not having the seat go backwards when the car is turned off and the seatbelt is detached? I read the manual, but nothing is mentioned on how to turn this off permanently. I was able to do it in my 2025 Land Cruiser but not on my 2025 4Runner.

    Boujee issues.

Seat goes back automatically so you have more room to get in/out.

I like this feature in the wifes RX350 so I can actually get in the damn car and not eat the steering wheel when getting in.

I didn't even know this could happen. But I guess the Pro's and Limited's have this problem, because they have memory seats. See, manual seats WIN again! :)

One of the first things I disabled on my ORP. I had it also in my Honda Ridgeline. I always found it annoying, especially if anyone was sitting in the seat behind me.

Hello, I'm just wondering if this actually helped you with that problem? I have not tried it yet. But I feel the same way as I often put things behind the front seat.

Limited memory seats are priceless imo. My wife’s seat position is slammed forward, raised up, with a gangster lean.

Well I went out and turned off the automatic retraction when the car is shut off. I'll try that for a while because I have smaller type storage container behind the driver's seat that I don't want crushed and like to keep it out of the wandering eye. But I agree the memory seats are great. I don't have anybody else driving my truck, but if I should ever move the seats around I don't want to have to fiddle with adjustment, I just press L1 or L2 and I'm done.

0n my 2026 TRD Sport Premium, there is no Vehicle Customization in Settings, just a bunch of acronyms for other features I've scrolled through but none that will disable the seat/mirror/wheel memory

Yes that completely fixed my issue I was able to change the settings in the info system. Pretty straightforward once I got into the vehicle customization feature and the boarding and exiting; there was an option
To turn offTo turn off the seat retraction upon exiting. I avoided using the steering wheel feature. I like to leave it where it is. I did not have anything for the mirrors since I don't have that feature. Not sure if the sport has that you might want to confirm that your manual. It's been a while since I have even dabbled with that feature it was just annoying in the beginning because it kept sliding back. Sometimes I put my groceries back there and it would compress them a bit.
