My seat heaters won't turn off, the temperature wheel spins but the heat doesn't stop. Anyone else experience this?

Sounds like your switch went bad.

Sounds like a faulty switch. Pull the fuse?

Remove the switch and use a multimeter to confirm the switch is not functioning correctly. If not, here is a place that sells them.

Not sure it's the best price, but did a quick search on bam. Be sure to confirm correct model/ year etc.

    https://www.bam wholesale parts.com/search?search_str=heated+seat+switch

Edit: Forum didn't like that link... Take out the spaces in that URL

Wow! I'm having the same issue. My driver's side seat heater light is on and won't turn off.
There's a video on youtube that shows removing the shift knob & the console trim.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFDy3SK-rO8

    I'll troubleshoot tomorrow...

Pulled the console cover and disconnected the driver's side switch. That's my temporary fix.
It's too dern hot to spend much time outside troublshooting.

Come Oct I'll fix it right. Heck, I'd love to need a seat heater in Texas. I don't remember ever turning one on...

I'm in Florida I haven't fooled with mine either other than pulling the fuse for now.

I live in Ohio and can't imagine a seat heater being terribly important.

Swap switches, see if it goes to the other seat. If it does, replace switch.

My owner's manual says the seat heater fuse is #13 in the driver's side instrument panel, not the fuse box. Can someone point out to me where I can find it so I can pull it before my butt is set ablaze? Thanks!

Same problem in my 15. Pulled the wire off the switch as a temporary fix 2 years ago. Never got around to trouble shooting and fixing it.

But, in Texas a seat heater is not a high priority. And the replacement switch was $75 when I looked.

Lesson learned? Those seat heater switches are not coffee proof. Everything was fine until I gave the switch a drink...

And who woulda thought the switch would be so ungrateful and not accepting a drink as a gift? Lol

I have a 2021 and the seat heaters were not working.
It looked like the previous owner might have spilled something on the console.
Looking on the internet I found that it is common for the Control Units under the seats to go bad. Instead of taking it to the dealer to fix which would have been diagnostic time, parts and labor, I just ordered two new switches and control units.
    It's an easy install.
Certainly overkill, and I don't usually just throw parts at problems, but it was winter in Tahoe and the girlfriend wanted the heaters to work.
    Problem solved.
Order the parts online from the local dealer, switches were about $85 each, and control units were about $108, so yeah it cost about $400, but everything is working normally now.

    Control Relays #87501-60040

Were you able to test function after each part swap to see what actually corrected the issue or did you just replace all components in one pass?

Just curious on which components may have been the culprit so you could have some good used parts on hand in the future (If needed).

First I pulled the switches, cleaned them with contact cleaner and checked with a multi tester, they appeared to be working properly after the cleaning but the seats were still not getting very warm. I did NOT test the relays. I kept all the old parts so if the new ones end up going bad I'll probably spend more time on diagnosis using the old parts. Like I said, winter, cold, snow, girlfriend, :argue:, it was worth the $$$ just to be done with it.
