I love my TRD pro, but the rear doesnt look as perky as the front. It almost looks like it sags. Someone at work parked a 4runner next to mine that was higher and looked great from the back. Is a leveling kit what I should ask for from the dealer? Will it make much higher for entry into the vehicle? I dont do 4 wheeling but I want my 4runner to look great. Thank you!

Usually the front sags due to engine weight. Level kits only help front end sag. Don't have your dealer do lifts or level kits. Measure vehicle hight at each wheel well. That will confirm if the rear sags. (Make sure to measure on level surface). Pro models do have a tiny spacer in the front to help level vehicle but should not make the front higher than the rear. If you do measure and the rear and with no added weight of cargo or people it sags then go to the dealer to check things out. Other members with stock pros can chime in their height so you can compare as well.

Pro comes an inch higher in the front, stock. You probably saw a Trail or SR5 model without the stock front lift. Because of the rake on the one you saw, it probably looked higher in the back than yours, but in reality they are all the same stock hieght in the rear.

That is weird. How many miles are on your Pro? Mine seems to be higher in the rear.

Thanks guys! From the side, the car looks even. It just looks low from the back. I havent measured but it does appear symmetrical from the side...but see how the back looks?

I have 1500 miles on it.

Thanks guys. I think you are right...I’m over reacting. The back really doesnt look that great to me, but I guess that’s how they are.

Overland (Heavy Duty) rear coils will help. I have ICON Stage 7 (billet) with the heavy duty rear coils, and it keeps the back end lifted the way I want. OME and Toytech have their version; certainly other suspension companies do too. I have a lot of weight on the vehicle, and the coils were necessary (for me).
