How bad would yall consider this rust? worth it to buy and started adding upgrades.
The files should be attached with the photos.

To the eye, nothing seems to horrid. But I would like to literally poke around some of those rusty areas first to be sure.

If you do get it, It’s never too late to soak it down with Wool Wax.

It’s like Fluid Film, which is used as an undercoating to prevent rust, or halt it). It’s basically lanolin (the oil found on freshly sheared wool). Nontoxic, no solvents.

Fluid film smells like the underside of a wet sheep, where Wool Wax brand is thicker, and more refined (so it doesnt stink as much). The idea is to hose all parts of your frame down with it, and it then looks like its covered in wax.

Drive it down a dusty gravel road after application, the dust sticks to it and locks it on even more.

If you need to wrench on the underside, youll need to clean it off a bit and wipe off the area…it comes off with a dry rag or paper towel.

This car is not rusty at all.

There are some spots starting but even if you do nothing, my prediction is you have 4-5 years before it's going to be an issue. I would do fluid film if you are planning on driving it anywhere they use salt.

Not bad just based on visual inspection. Looks like my 2013.

    It’s also leaking something.

I asked them about the leaking thing cause I saw it too but the said it was "classy chassy" that they sprayed in the fender wells and it ran down there

Are the 4th gens priced extremely high anywhere else? In North Carolina a decently clean one is pushing 15k+ almost everytime and most of the time theres barely any clean ones on the market

Check the inside of the rails near the motor mounts. From what I see though I'd say that's pretty clean and real minimal rust.
