I know, I see all these suggestions on roof racks and all, but I'm set in my ways in getting a Prinsu. I'm biased because I had a Prinsu on my Tacoma, so to me it makes sense with what I know and have experience with. Not to mention, I just really like the product. It was on the truck for four years and really had no complaints. I did notice a couple bolts start to rust that I will pay more attention to on my next rack.

Anyway, with all that rambling, I was planning to pull the trigger on a Prinsu this weekend with the Labor day sale and all. But they are only offering "Buy a rack, get Ridgeline handles" I message the company back and forth a few times seeing if I could get a discount instead, with no avail.

So I suppose I need to wait till Black Friday to pick one up.

see if this will work. Call them and ask some questions about the Prinsu (make friends with the person) then say, I am torn between the Prinsu and Sherpa, is there any discount you can give me to buy it right now?

Was texting with someone but didn’t really work in my favor. Maybe voice conversation like you say is the move.

No complaints here—going on three years with my Prinsu rack. I chose it specifically for the height, which isn’t overly tall. I believe I paid around $799.IMG_1902.jpg

it worked for me with my Eibach shocks. THey took 10% off and threw in free shipping. It is worth a try

Took the advice given and called Prinsu up. Had a nice chat.

They offered me a 10% discount instead of the Ridgeline handles. BUT was talked into being patient and waiting till Black Friday. There is a good chance that the Pro Rack will be discounted the same price as the Original Rack is now. And another option would be wait and get the Original Rack and the Ladder at or around the same cost as the Pro Rack.

I think I'll wait it out.

Nice, yeah my experience has been if you call them directly you will get a discount. With the Eibachs that was about a $230 saving just by me asking. I bought my Sherpa right around Christmas and paid $850 for it. To this day I think they made an error with that price/posting because maybe a day later the price changed. I know you're sold on Prinsu but have you looked at the Sherpa Crestone?

I haven’t. I suppose I need to do some digging into it. It’s not all that much different then the prinsu right?

Yeah it’s essentially the same thing. Low profile.
