Replacement door handles

I am trying to order replacement black handles for my 4 runner. does anyone have to part numbers for the handle and the little piece next to the handle where the key goes. trying to figure out if the handles are the same right to left or front to rear doors. the website isnt very clear.

 

The handles are all the same but the little piece next to it is different front to back. Sorry I don’t have the part numbers. I ended up ordering an aftermarket set from Amazon. If you’re interested I can attach the link

 

Sure I'll take that link. I installed the handle covers but not really liking them. They don't cover the whole handle and im not digging it

 

I know one piece on the driver door is different because of the key hole

 

The front passenger is different from the backs as well. The angle that the mounting screw goes into it is different

I considered the covers but knew that would bother me as well

 

yeah,they look okay from a far but up close not so much

 

Anybody tried Tundra door handles? They were interchangeable with the FJ back in the day.. A lot of people got black Tundra handles to replace the silver ones the FJ had. I put the black covers on my 4Runner. They look alright. I don't really notice them anymore. Maybe find a black 4Runner from a junkyard? Wouldn't that have black handles?

 

the tundra are interchangable with the sequoia buy not the 4runner

 

hows the fit and finish on those Amazon handles. some of the comments say they dont line up correctly

 

For the price I’m pretty happy with them. Not perfect but not bad. The rear passenger piece sits a hair proud of the handle

If you want to order the door parts, here’s a list for keyless entry. I believe keyed entry would be pretty cheap. Total for the bottom 4 lines were $112. The top line is the keyless front door and they were $328 total. The “-B1” at the end of the part numbers are signifying MGM paint. I think if you change them to “-C1” or “-C0” or “-C2” (depending on the part) then they would come in black.

 

Total for the keyed entry was about 215bucks. Im gonna give the Amazon ones a try, see how they work out. Thanks everyone for the info

This is something I've been wanting to do. I have the smart key system but never use it. Does anyone know if I can replace the handles with the non smart key variant without issue? Much cheaper lol. As long as I can hit the fob to lock and unlock I’m good

 

Are you just wanting a different color handle? If the 2023 TRD is what you have, you can take the handles apart and paint them. If you had chrome handles, it’s much more difficult to do that

 

Yes, I'm just wanting black. I was hoping to be able to just use basic black ones and not have that interfere with my keyless entry ( not the smart entry ) but it appears that won't be possible. I don't really want to paint them just incase I want to go back to white or something lol.

 

I got the Amazon handles and painted them with luna1 satin black.just installed them the other day. came out pretty good
