We have a drive-thru car wash in town that does a high pressure wash of the underbelly - check locally to see if you have one of those (they work pretty good).

They make an attachment for a power washer that rolls under. I don’t have a link but I’m planning on getting one.

I had heard low pressure was better for first rinse so you don't force sand into crevices. Anyone else ever heard that?

If you have ramps, drive up on them with the 4runner uphill as well. Then get under there with a hose and just run lots of water on everything, and through the frame rails and cross members. Look for holes in the frame in the front, spray right into them, and youll see the water run all the way to the back trailing arms. Sample the water in the back to make sure its clear of sand.

Then do the same, but with the rear tires on the ramp. Spray everything off real good, and run water through the frame from the back of the frame. It should run through to the front of the frame.

While you do this, make sure to keep repeating to yourself how fun it is. After 20 minutes, you wont want to stop lol.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
Oh, I dunno. A nice warm day in Arizona, and laying on your back in the shade of the truck, spraying nice cool water everywhere, might not be such a bad way to go :D
Add in some of the dust that coats all of Arizona, and you've got a nice mud pit to roll around in! Hire a couple of lovely ladies to do the rolling around, heck, you've got mud wrestling. Who could ask for a better way to wash out the underside of your truck. :mudding: :yay:

    Have fun, all!

Haven't heard it but makes sense. Be sure to rinse WELL more for any salt rather than the sand itself!
