Just crawled under my 99 today to check the source of a clunking noise in the passenger rear. Turns out I have a broken rear passenger shock. I am looking at replacing. Any suggestions appreciated. I am looking at ProComp ES9000 and the KYB Gas Adjust for budget minded shocks. Anyone with experience with either?

I wouldn't mess with the ProComp ES9000's. They are stiff and mine were toast after 50,000 miles of 99% road driving. The bushings were rounded out, the shafts were pitting and the seals were leaking.

Right now I am putting about 7-8k on a year.. so 50k would get me pretty far... maybe outlast my motor. Would you have other suggestions?

Bilstein 5100's. If you are just looking for simply replacing on the cheap, go for KYB or similar.
