RCI Metalworks sale

Is this the best time to buy an RCI skid plate? Will they have a better sale later in the year or next year?

 

They have sales all the time....usually 15 to 20%.

 

Last week would've been the best day. I bought my stuff many years ago around that time. Good products.

 

They are still currently on sale. No idea what last week's percentage was. RCI seems to have sales almost daily....just like JC Penney

 

Yeah it seems that RCI keeps the same prices year round with or without the word “sale.”

I just checked their website and their price on the full skid plate package has increased a bit. Their site says $785.65 for the plates at today’s “sale” price. On June 24, 2024 I paid $750.49 for the plates and $74.56 for shipping to Idaho. They’re quality plates and the price is much better than other fab shops. Heck, the $35 difference from what I paid is decimal dust when you accessorize.

 

I just bought the RCI 20 degree rock slides with top plate and black powder coat last week. Best price / quality and still on sale.

 

Best time to buy was last year when it was cheaper.. sigh

 

Have you installed it yet? Can you take a photo of it from the top, interested to see how far out it sticks out.

 

I’m not sure if the price for skid plate is a good buy now but I’ve been tracking the price for the rock sliders.

Early November was $999, Black Friday was $849, and today it’s $799.

Just ordered a set of sliders. Price was too good to ignore.

The old predator steps are pretty thrashed from rust and bashing.

Will be nice to have frame mounted rails now.

Curious how the predator steps rusted, as they're aluminum...mounting bolts, perhaps?

 

Mine are cheap ass knock-offs. Have just referred to that style as predator steps.

Sand, rocks, salt have blasted the paint off mine and I didn't GAF enough to touch up paint over the last five years.
