Got mine from 4Runner Lifestyle. No issues with them after nearly two years.

The Customer service response time to emails is very slow though. Takes several days.
Lacks technical knowledge from the sales team.

    Have one of their products.

You are better off with other retailers as mentioned below.
Yota Expedition - Great Customer service.

The LEDs/wiring/soldering etc. inside those Raptors see through... looks all the same.

    Just my 2cs

I purchased these after having the smoked version of the 4runner Lifestyle for a while. Just never liked how large they were. I love the small size of these but wish they had a more smoked look.

it’s personal choice but I am of the same opinion. Raptor lights on 4R seems a little too much

None for me. Why are people adding those? To me it doesn’t look good. Just my opinion tho.

Why do so many Toyota owners want something that is on a Ford? Heck they are even named after a Ford.

I like the added visibility they give so other drivers can see me approaching. To each their own...

They don’t really help there because the headlights are brighter. It’s just a fad started by my friend on his Tacoma because his dad has owned every gen Raptor. He regrets ever doing it.

a set of ford raptor style lights were included in a friends bootleg pro grill order even though he didn’t order them. he emailed the vendor notifying them of their error but told him they didn’t want the lights back.

those lights have been floating between a few garages because of some unspoken prank we have going on.

I went with white smoked. Also my light bar has running lights. Each are in their own switch.

The DOT required Ford to put them on because of the width of the raptor.

Yep, the bronco raptor n f150 raptor both have them. But the ranger raptor does not.

I think the lights are pointless on a 4runner but whatever floats your boat.

That's the whole point of moding. :)
The 4Runner is a complete truck from factory.

Unfortunately, by joining these forum. It becomes addictive after seeing another modified 4Runner :)

However, its not prudential to break the bank. I only use spare change

And the DOT does not require it on the 4Runner. The more humorous thing is that it seems the people that put them on do it to make their vehicle “unique” by following a fad that several other people do and ultimately has the opposite effect.

The fact that Truck manufacturers are adding raptor shows they are trendy and follow their user base.
That's why the newer 4Runner now comes with full LEDS. Because previous owners were spending thousands getting aftermarket LED assemblies.
Follow the mods. Keep your customers happy.

Before Joining this forum. I wouldn't dare mod any of my trucks.
    I stayed OEM.
My Mods are easily removable before trade-ins. Heavily modded vehicles are hard to sell on the dealers lots. Had to be wholesaled at the auction

Part of the appeal of the 4runner (to me) is the sheer number of 4runners out there and large number of modded 4runners. There's nothing I can do to this thing that has not been done, and I don't want to. When I started modding my brand new 4runner, I was especially comfortable doing do because I had innumerable examples of mods and I could very clearly see what worked and what did not (in my eyes and for my taste).

Shocks with reservoirs are a fad or even 2.5" shocks because almost no one really needs that. At the end of the day, almost everything I've done to the 4runner was for looks (and at the very least looks was a huge factor taken into the decision) because while I've done thousands of miles of dirt roads, most of our driving is around town.

Reliable mods are going to be thoroughly tested by the customer base and mass produced. Which means it will be a fad.

I see a lot of raptor lights and honestly wouldn't run them myself except I have 2 sets so when ever I pass a Tacoma or 4runner running them, I've got them beat by a set. I also forget I even have them since they turn on and off while I'm still in the car. They're also switched so i can mix it up; run one set or the other or none.

in short - None of my mods are required and none of my mods are unique.

Sometime you have to drive over a curb when you get stuck in the in-n-out parking lot.

thoughts...don't. Its not a Raptor, it's not wide enough to require them and, like blackout badges, its overdone... (yes, I know, unpopular opinion, in the end, you do you...)
