Getting ready for winter and generally cleaning my 4runner and my squeeze bottle of rain x ran out, So I looked at Amazon and found there’s multiple types now. I’m looking at the windshield treatment for repelling water. Anyone using anything other than the traditional squeeze bottle, and do you recommend them, over the old style or another brand?

The Rain-X waterless car wash. It's better than the old school Rain-X.

I am testing AutoManiacs Ameriglano Ceramic Glass Cleaner right now. Its a spray on, wipe off product. Need to use a high pile microfiber towel to buff off with no residual haze, but once done it beads up and sheds water pretty good and reduces the need for wiper use on the highway during rain. Cant comment on longevity at this point, but I will keep the page update with any updates. https://www.top4runners.com/ja/2007/automaniacs.html

I use the same, but it doesn’t seem to last a long time, so i also use the liquid in the squeeze bottle and buff it off after it drys a bit. Looking around though, there is a lot of new products out there. I particularly like it in snow/freezing rain.

Ceramic or graphene coating is the way to go.
