My wife’s 2019 limited’s radio has no power. I checked the radio 1 fuse and amp fuse in the box under the hood, both intact. The other fuse box underneath the dash next to the parking brake has no fuses concerning the radio, as per the fuse diagram. The back up camera still displays on the screen. The cd currently installed won’t eject. So no power to the unit. Anyone know if there is a fuse behind the unit itself? Any and all help will be appreciated! Thanks!

Switched power is probably on a different circuit. Dome light working? 12VDC power socket work?

This happened on the Corolla sadly, so we updated to the Soundstream. Which my wife hates because didn’t get hands free model.

Did you find a solution to this problem? My radio is doing the same exact thing. 2016 Trail, non JBL. Thanks

I would check with the amp.

behind the passenger side panel the jbl system amp is located, if this isn’t running neither will the radio.

mid you pop in there you’ll know real fast if the circuit is dead or if the head unit is an isolated issue. Also much easier to use a multimeter to diagnose from that location if you don’t want to pull the radio.

Thanks for the information, but my unit is non JBL with nav. Fuses are good and voltage checks out fine at connectors behind radio. I found a used non jbl unit to test and it does the same thing.

This is currently happening in my 2017 TRD premium. It was working yesterday just fine then all of a sudden when I started my vehicle it didn't come on but the reverse camera is working so there's power to the screen. I've already tried all of the obvious buttons I've checked all of the fuses that are to be represented for audio or communication or any of those and still no luck.

The stereo will not come on without this fuse:

Turned out to be the radio. The factory replacement that I found on eBay was also failed, but seller sent me another unit and it’s working.
