Has anyone done a mod where you put a USB outlet in one of the knockouts in the console? I’m looking at a head unit that has a USB out in the back, I’d like to run a cable to the console and install a plug so I don’t have to plug into the front of the stereo all the time. I see that have charging USB outlets that fit the knockouts, but this would need to be for audio out from the stereo.

I've replaced the factory usb with a dual under the radio that does data. Or are you talking about the armrest? Which would be the same thing but just a longer cable to run to the radio.
