I've read on one of the 4Runners forum a post from a guy stating that after he installed a leveling kit (2" Front / 1" Rear), he started to receive a whole host of errors on the dash (Pre-Collision System Malfunction, Drive Start Control Malfunction and ABS System Malfunction).
Has anyone experience the same issue? Is that common? And is there a solution for it?
I'm considering a similar lift, but don't want any surprises if I do.
    2021 4Runner TRD Pro...
    I appreciate any advice.
    Cheers!

Here's a pic of my buddy's 2021 TRD ORP (On Left) with a "ReadyLift" leveling kit with 3in lift front and 2in lift rear. No lights on dash and no issues with functionality.

Great!! Glad to hear that it's not a common issue.

We have a RevTek 3/2 leveling/lift and no problems, I go along with Kyle(post #3) on this one.

How is your ride quality on the highway with that kit on there?

I have the Westcott lift on mine an no issues.

Obvious reminder - even after a small “spacer-lift” you need to get an alighnment.

Did you notice any change in the ride quality? Same? Better? Worst?

Ride quality is like a stock 4Runner, it still has a slight "dive" when braking, a little body roll, etc., I'm thinking we put it on to see if we really want to put a lot of money into suspension, we probably go off-road a half dozen times a year, but now with the added benefit of on-road attitude and a couple other factors, the aftermarket suspension world is very appealing, the down- side to aftermarket shocks are obvious cost, and when we trade for another vehicle, if we get something similar, do you let the aftermarket stuff on and start over accesorizing a new vehicle, or, take your stuff off if it fits on the new vehicle? Overall= it has it's ups(fairly in-expensive) and downs(really doesn't improve performance...just looks).

Thanks. I’m looking to keep a relative stock look (without being to far lifted) and maintain as close to factory ride quality as possible since we will be taking long road trips and will be mainly a daily driver.

How much did your kit cost and do you have links to the products? Did you have a shop install or is it reasonable enough to DIY?

The kit was $500.00, which included new back shocks. We had the dealership install it(installed from new on), but you really "bend over" when you do this, dealership listed this install on the warranty, any more stuff like this I will do myself. I'm not sure how to put the link up(not real computer savy) but if you do a search on the internet... RevTek Suspension.. will get you to where you want to be. The factory ride thing...... the install of the spacer kit doesn't change it, it just "looks" different. there are different kits available, ours was a 3'' front-2'' rear w/shocks. #432

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
There are ABS lines you need to be careful off when installing a lift.

I watched a bunch of videos on installing a lift and decided, I'd let a professional handle it. I used BKS Trucks in Springfield, MO.

Awesome. So you got this one:
KIT 432 – 3″ FRONT AND 2″ REAR SPLIT SPACER SYSTEM
    https://www.revtek.com/vehicle-selections/toyota/4runner/2010-2019-4runner-2wd-4wd.html

I’m sure since 2021 is still 5th gen it “should” still fit. I don’t have KDSS. Was doing some reading and saw it keeps all the original Toyota alignment specs, etc. which is important.

I had my local Toyota dealer install a 2 inch lift kit from Rough Country. 45 minutes after I left I got this.

Took it back to the dealer within 48 hours. And they said they re-calibrated everything. Rebooted everything. Cleared it out and should be good to go. Guess what? 45 minutes later I got it again!
