Where is the pcv valve located on a 2025 4Runner TRD Pro? It’s just so busy on top of the engine and I can’t find it.

I started a trend. Every 20k miles change it. You know you want to join the cool kid club. Just do it.

On a 5th Gen sure. Easy to do, cheap part. No harm in it.

Sounds like on the 6th Gen it's pretty hard to get to.

OP your PCV valve is likely fine...

Lol. That one YT dork video got everyone talking about PCV when they didn’t think about it in their previous vehicles.

T24A-FTS is said to have an oil separator built into the PCV circuit in the head, so the PCV valve may last a lot longer than on 5th gen. There's no change interval in the maintenance booklet. Chalk it up as another on-condition item, in the same vein as the in-tank fuel filter sock and transmission fluid strainer.

In exchange there are additional maintenance items like battery pack air filter replacement and inverter coolant replacement.

The catch cans sold on the market may be a waste of money on this engine, as they connect to the fresh air vent hose...

True. No one cared before that. Now it’s a PCV crisis.
