So my son got in the vehicle and pulled the seatbelt out and it was wet. No signs of moisture anywhere else in the vehicle. The door wasn't left open and it did rain last night. I have the Sherpa Crestone installed but I thought it was pretty tight. Guessing it is leaking there and going down the pillar to the seat belt? Any other thoughts?

    Thanks,

    C

    Is that a drill rack?
Is the seatbelt under factory roof mount?
    Sunroof?
How’s the factory roof front to back seal-thing look? Weatherstripping guy?

No not a drill rack. Goes in the holes from the OEM rack. It’s only 5 months old. Seal and rubber look good and threads are tight. The bracket sits behind the pillar so I would have suspected the water to show somewhere else if not first then at least in conjunction with but nothing.

Do you have a moon roof?

I've heard of the drain lines from the moon roof getting clogged, causing moisture to get in the cabin. I thought it was usually towards the A pillar, but could be worth checking.

Long time no chat man. Hope you are well. I can check my runner for that drain vent. Maybe this will help the OP.
