I’m researching now but figured I’d ask here right quick. Found a white 95 2 wheel drive 4Runner with a blown head gasket. I have 2 options, fix it or strip it for parts for my 90.

I know there’s some differences between the motors, the rest I’m not sure about. I’m thinking of maybe stripping it, and doing a full rebuild on the 3VZE and keeping it as a spare. $300 and it has a clear title.

Also looking for confirmation that most if not all of the body parts are interchangeable, doors, etc.

    TIA.

Well it was a no go buying the 95, body and interior damage was to much to justify taking it on. Had it been a 4X4 I would have taken it. I did snatch the heads for a few bucks since they were off and looked good to me. No visible cracks anyway.

I’m going to order the stuff from LCE then have them rebuilt and stash away so I have a set if I ever need them.
