I have a lean code on bank one. I have replaced fuel injectors, plenum gasket, MAF, 02 sensor (upstream). I did a smoke test to look for any vacuum leaks and didn't see any obvious leaks. It threw the code not too long after I replaced the engine coolant temperature sensor and I had a new brake master cylinder installed. The electronic controlled power transmission function is also malfunctioning, when applied it drops to first gear and won't upshift from first, I have to turn the function off in order for it to shift correctly.
My registration is due and it needs to pass smog test or I can't renew the registration.
    Thanks for reading
    HELP??!!

Well, Its going to need some work. Here, If it does not pass the smog test, you can put like $600.00 or $800.00 into it to pass. Then they will let it fly?

    Year?

    Engine?

I get the same code on my 2002 3.4L every year or so. I reset the code and it stays off for another year. You can always try that. If it comes right back, then you have an issue.

Otherwise, the downstream O2 sensor (or AF sensor depending on the year) usually is to blame.

For the sensors (temp, MAF, O2), did you use TOYOTA\DENSO? TOYOTAs are very picky.

If the O2/AF sensors are good OEM sensors and the MAF is a good OEM MAF, then most likely there is air getting in from somewhere. Use the brake cleaner trick to find the vacuum leak. The smoke test is good but it may have missed.
