Hi all, thanks for the add. So, I have a 2008 SR5 that I bought new. A headlight finally burned out last year and I replaced both and both worked. Now, a year later, one is not working. I bought a new one and plugged it in and it also doesn't work (low beam, driver's side). High beams work fine on both sides, low beam is fine on the passenger side.
So, I thought maybe a fuse, but even if there are two, wouldn't both be out (either both on driver's side or both low beams)? A friend said bring it to a shop and have them check the ballast, but before paying for that, do any of you have any other ideas? Thanks!

Switch the bulbs to the opposite sides and make sure it's not a bad bulb

Thanks, that was a good suggestion. It did not work in the other side. So, I brought it back and the guy at the counter looked it up and said "Here's why, it's the wrong bulb." I should have known when the first guy (very young) thought a 4Runner was a Nissan. Then when I said no, it's a Toyota he said "Oh, that's right, the Nissan is the Forester." LOL. So, all is well except that the Napa part does not fit as well and is slightly askew, which may have been why the first one went bad after one year in the first place. Anyway, thanks for the help.
