Second time hitting the trails. Cleghorn Ridge trail in SoCal. Didn't do any of the crazy offshoots because I lack both skill and clearance. Still had a blast taking in the scenery and spending time with my bros. We even saw deer but didn't get it on camera.

I've been on Cleg many times in my TJ. I had a couple of former co-workers follow me in their Jeeps and trucks. It's a good starter trail.
Pilot Rock Trail is nearby. And it also had an Adopt-A-Trail that has some very steep sections. If the makeshift ladder is still there, one can climb onto Pilot Rock for an amazing view. The pioneers used that rock to guide themselves across the desert.

Thank you! I'll make sure to look that up and hopefully check it out next time.
