Looking at some Circuit Off-road wheels. Haven’t heard much about them, should I have any concerns?

Looking at 17x8.5 Circuit Hayford to go with my 295/70/17 Mickey Thompson Baja Bosss

Scrap the plan and go with 285/75/17?

You can run 285mm on stock wheels, and narrower is better. You save money, looks better, and have better performance.

They may be lame, but they look better and provide better performance.

I think that's just your opinion. I prefer 17x8.5 with -12 offset, and then add some 1.25" spacers. Killer stance. Lol

I like the circuit Windom. Lightweight and nice offset. But -10 offset may rub a little depending on tire choice.

The stock wheels pull the tire in, so there is less wear on wheel bearings and other steering/suspension parts. It pulls the tire in so there is less debris thrown along the side of the vehicle, reducing paint and body damage to the rockers and wheel opening mouldings.

ETA: OP is proposing about a 1" difference in the amount the wheel will stick out compared to stock. The tire is over 1" wider than stock (another .5" further out). That will have a detrimental impact on wear, maintenance and material along the side (think gravel being thrown into the rear moulding). That's why stock performs better.

What you guys think about the -10 offset, gonna be a problem with 295/70/17. I already have minor front fender trimming and a body mount chop

True I guess. -12 offset seem to sit flush, it doesn't fling much debris(but yes more so then stock).

What will kill your wheel bearings more then offset.... weight. If you keep your wheels and tires lightweight you'll be good. SL, xl or c rated tires. And before you order wheels. Check the weight. Sr5 and trd ofrroad wheels weight around d 28lbs.

That is complete BS. Have over 100k miles on my 2011 Tacoma with no issues running aftermarket wheels and that was running heavy ass XD Spy’s which have since been replaced by TE37s.

I think -10mm is necessary with 295 width to avoid rubbing on control arm or frame.

The wheel looks good, flow formed so it's decently strong and only 22lb.
