I want to provide a genuine Toyota oil filter when I get my oil changed.

Somehow, my local walmart carries my O.E. Toyota filter. I was shocked.

    I'm getting mine from eBay.

Why....the dealer is cheap. Many of them on ebay and Amazon are fake knockoffs.

I would stay away from that. If you're so concerned about a "genuine Toyota oil filter", buy it from a "genuine Toyota dealer." SMH.

Unlike many, I've never had a lot of bad experience from eBay and when I did it could be linked to my not paying attention to what I was buying.. As long as you pay attention to what you are buying, it's one of the safest places to shop. Ebay has always been very good at refunding my money when the product was not as described even when the vendor resisted.
However, I don't shop on Amazon if I can help it.

OK checked to local Toyota stealership, $7.10 with tax. Looks like I'll get it there.

I hesitate to go to that stealership as they are lying thieves when it comes to dealing on a car purchase.

The last 2 new Toyotas I purchased were from dealers 90-120 miles away as they were honest and didn't try to add hidden fees.

Why not just order online? Like from here: https://autoparts.worldtoyota.com/products/product/replaceable-element-oil-filter-04152yzza5
You can order several at a time, they're way less expensive (although you still pay shipping), you know they are genuine, and you can still give the finger to the local stealership. I usually order 3 at a time. Always have one or two on hand.

Hoping this isn't a dumb question, but what's the difference between the part above and Toyota Oil Filter Element Kit (#04152-38010)? Thanks.

FYI: Conicelli has them, with the oil filter drain plug gasket for $4 each...if you buy 10
They are $4.64 each +.89 cents if you buy one at a time

    https://parts.conicellitoyotaofcons...tundra-toyota-10-a5-9043012031-10a59043012031

Conicelli is cheaper on price, but they do collect sales tax from out of state buyers...
Sparks does not collect sales tax, but they don't have the same 'bundle deals'...

    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-genuine-toyota-oil-filter-4152yzza5

Another plus for, Conicelli they sometimes have deals on Toyota wiper blades for $30 a pair
