OEM headlight upgrade

I’m installing 2023 trd pro OEM headlights on my 2020. I’m planning on getting a wiring harness adapter that will also use the halogen DRL’s when the LED high beams are on. Has anyone switched out the DRL bulb? If so, is there a recommendation of a bulb that pairs well with the LED high’s?

You are planning to use the existing 9005 wire that do double duty as DRL and Highbeam right?

In my personal experience Xenon Depot LED Pro with DRL driver does not flicker in DRL more and give a decent highbeam output as a highbeam. But no where near bright as a high power LEDs with fans. But most LEDs with fans will flicker in DRL mode.

I saw this solution from VLED that seem to solve this problem. (But no personal experience though. Tempted to try.)

I bought a pair of 3k DRL and they are on the side of yellow/light orange and they contrast really well when it goes full high beam as they become bright yellows
