Cleared a P0705 code on my 2019 4Runner. Now I can't get the scanner unplugged. Is there some clip or latch I can't see? Pulling hard on it and wiggling back and forth. Don't want to break anything. Thanks!

    Pull harder.

Hopefully its not a bent pin holding it in now.

Never had one get stuck so not sure.

I usually have hard time lining it up to put it in.

    Hit it with your purse!

Seriously just make sure you are pulling in line with the plug. Don't pull up.

Thanks. It's strange. Just wanted to make sure there's no latch or clip I'm forgetting.

Is the OBDII giving you a 'can't remove scanner' code? :p

Yeah, that one can be pricey. Neutral safety switch. Dealership cleaned it many months ago and it worked flawlessly for a while. For the moment, clearing code is the fix.

Thanks. The ribbing was expected given the nature of my problem. It’s all good.

    Mall crawling kit.
On a positive side, it could have been much worse. You didn't have to go to the ER because something unexpectedly stuck in some orifice.
