Came across a couple of notifications on my info screen when checking the maintenance notification. I found a notification about the pre-collision system and another about the vehicle stability system. Both said to bring vehicle in to Toyota to inspect. I do not have any lights on the dashboard. Nothing in the app about these either. I did accidentally press the vehicle stability control button for a couple of seconds instead of the garage door button when pulling into the driveway. I don't recall seeing anything pop up on the dashboard. My only concern is the time that the notification appeared which was about 2.5 earlier than when I pressed the wrong button.

My question is do I bring this in to get looked at? I did use the adaptive cruise control after I got the notification and it worked as it should keeping the correct distance with the vehicle in front of me.

    Thanks, Norm

Someone else came across this and figured more than likely happened while the vehicle was being built due to the dates of the alerts.

Interesting! Gives the date but no year. It was built in June 2024. Happened on the same date that I missed buttons. If I clear it and there is a problem I'm guessing that the notification will come back? Thanks for reply.

Yup just clear it out. If it was an active fault then you would be getting a consistent warning.

Will do. Makes sense since they are below the maintenance notifications. Again, thank you!

I have encountered this simply because on the first one it was snowy and the sensor got blocked by snow. The second one I was off roading and it went off. I am sure if I check the maintenance log it will show them. I wouldnt worry about it
