Hey everyone! I'm totally new to 4runners, off roading, and overlanding. Just purchased a 2019 4runner TRD pro and I couldn't be more stoked!

I'd really love to get started with mods but have no clue where to start. I was thinking just some simple stuff to begin with. Maybe tint, cold air intake and pedal commander. Any suggestions on progression of mods?

Welcome to the forum Charles, i think the Peddle Commander is a good choice, and you already have the cold air intake. Drive it for awhile as is, and do some research on here to get a feel for stuff that works.

Man - missing my home in VA reading this post. I’m in AZ, now, but I lived in Lynchburg my whole life so Richmond is a place we went quite a bit.

I have a pedal commander on my ’21 - it eliminates the sluggish feel from the start and has an app you can download to switch modes. Pretty cool.

The next mod you need is the front license plate mod so the VA State Troopers don’t pull you over and ticket you for not having one...lol. As much as I love and respect our police, those guys’ll arrest each other I swear :D

@247racingAZ haha yeah the front license plate mod is definitely priority. The dealer didn't have any plates left. I've got the paper tag in the dash temporarily. Thanks for the heads up though!

Great city, great looking 4Runner. We made our first and only trip from ATX to Richmond about two winters ago and really liked it. Perfect size, great feel. It seemed like it was growing, is it still? Nice to have you here!

@Hammy68 yeah definitely still growing! The food scene and craft brewery scene has probably seen the most growth
