87 4runner (Stealth) SR5, Detroit locked rear, locked right up in the front screaming the old 4 banger with a set of 5:29.1 gears, all ran through a factory 5 speed, whining through a Marlin Crawler ultimate box with the 2:7.1 front box and 4:7.1 twin stick rear box.
Hello from Utah. I am new the the forum but not to Toyota, off road, mods and tricks.
I currently live in Pleasant Grove Utah and always down to meet up and cruise some roads or drink some drinks. My current rig (Stealth) has a stock 22re backed up to a stock 5 speed, tied up to the Marlin Crawler ultimate double case with 2.7 front case and 4.7 twin stick rear case linked to stock rear axle with a good old fashion Detroit hard locker (back when the had hard and soft lockers) all kept straight with stock springs with 1 added leaf spring and a set of 33 x 10.50 r 15 rubbers. The front is factory stock IFS system, stuffed with lock right and 5.29 gears with the IFS support bar/bracket for the lover control arms and rolling some33 x 10.50 r 15 rubbers. I did put in a set of Downey torsion bars that are bigger in diameter then stock. I also added in some Hella H4 headlights behind an ARB bull bar (I was one of the first people to order them in the US back then) with a warn 9000 still pulling an old fashion steel cable.
I do have an angel cruiser. 1982 FJ60 (Rusty) that was mostly factory stock. Only addition was a lock right in the rear. Rusty is not resting in Yota heaven from Cancer. he cancer was just to bad to keep her anymore so I had to make a choice to let her rest in dignity though I miss her every day. Yes I am talking about rust and a truck.
I will have a 08 FJ Cruiser from my pops in a few years. It does have a lift (4" if I remember right) with 4.88 (If I recall right) and a set of 285 rubbers.
Other Yota's I have had in past. 87 22re turbo double t case with 2.7 in both, Detroit locker with 5.71 rear, lock right and 5.71 gears rolling 33 x 9.50 rubbers. Warn 9000 winch mounted to a smitty built winch bumper (worst bumper I ever had) I did have another 87 4 runner that I kept stock for a daily driver till I sold it to purchase an 88 Yota pickup that I kept stock.

Sounds like a heck of a resume you have had/got. Post up some pics of your rig when you get a moment.

Welcome to the forum from North Carolina.
