    I put flat black trim overlay on most parts but I am trying to black out the areas around the dial for the vent direction and the heat dial.

    I see you figured out the "Upload a File" button before I could respond, so you're already a few days faster than I was lol.

    I'm not sure who sells the overlays for your year/layout, but I would browse cartrimhome and mesocustoms first, maybe runnin4tacos as well. I've seen other members post products in the same category from those three if I recall correctly, if you use the search (magnifying glass icon) in the upper right and type "interior trim overlay" you should be able to see threads going back a few years showing off all kinds of cool products.

    I used to advise buying vinyl and DIY, until I tried it. Nah, buy it already cut and save the headache unless you're artsy-craftsy, don't be like me lol. I tossed out my single attempt at trim covers and haven't even mentioned it til now, they came out so ugly :D

    Btw, in Torrington somewhere there is a media blasting shop that sells an awesome primer for steel called Masterseries, if you can manage to find the physical shop location you can get some pretty cheap and save on shipping.
