New member/Radiation Attack

Hi guys, my name is Chrisw8ty and I'm new. I hope to benefit and contribute to the forum.
My main reason for joining is to find out how a hacker can compromise my car to attack me with radiation and listen to my conversation.

Hi! Welcome to the forum! For someone to listen to your conversations while in your car, they would need a beam/yagi receiver in which they would only be able to hear what you are physically saying. That person would also have to follow you around everywhere you go and point that receiver at your car at all times. If thats the case then you need not worry about radiation as it is receive only -and nothing is being transmitted at you.

With regards to cell phones, noone can really intercept your cell phone conversation unless your traffic channel on the cell site itself is compromised which is highly doubtful these days with the way the signal is multiplexed and encrypted. You can try turning off all communications in your car, cell phone, radio etc....and use an RF meter to see what levels you are getting. An RF meter would also be able to tell you if your car is bugged.

To attack you with radiation is just cruel! One would need some powerful radio equipment and a beam/yagi antenna to direct the radiation towards you. Anything above 1000mhz could effect you but would need to be in the thousands of watts for it to really do anything harmful to you.

Check for bugs in your car. There are sneaky devices out there that can be hidden in your car and record your conversations. The device though needs to be charged once in a while so if theres a bug, someone who has access to your car is putting it there.
