I like the RSG sliders, maybe next month I’ll order. I want to find some fun trails up north, hopefully I can dig some spots up on here.

Nice! I'll be looking for something similar as I just realized that my tire inflator is insufficient.

I bought mine in late January and have bought wheels/tires, sliders, ETC. These things are money pits in the best way!!

How do they hold up with road salt?

I can't say much yet. My biggest concern was salt/dirt/sand getting between the sliders and the frame. I coated the frame and the mounting plates on the sliders with fluid film before bolting them on. I plan to remove the sliders periodically and check it out.

I’m tire shopping as we speak... I’m on the fence with my rims though. I saw a member on here had his painted and might do the same.

My wife doesn’t think the new Ko2’s I put on her ride look aggressive enough. She’s wanting something different. BUT... She doesn’t want anything loud, AND she wants great on road manners since this is usually the vacation mobile. She doesn’t quite understand that mud tires aren’t the best every day driving tires for what she WANTS. UGH!

I'm sorry to keep clogging up your thread, but here's mine with stock size KO2's and Pro-Comp 05 series wheels (17"×9") just for ideas

As far as I know, the KO2's are about as aggressive as it gets without going to a full on mud tire. There are other good looking AT's, but none that look much better.

Most, if not all, mud terrains will be D or E load rated. That means heavier, harsher ride, reduced fuel economy, ETC.

There are some mud terrains out there that looks really tough and are supposed to be OK for daily drivers. But, you're probably going to have to compromise somewhere.

    Good luck with your search!
