    No Idea.
    Figured I’d introduce myself since I’ll be cruising around here asking ridiculous questions and making comments that will probably show my ignorance of Toyota . We got my wife a 5th Gen Off-Road Premium for her to pilot on adventures. I’m coming from Jeep but need a better understanding of 4Runners and how they function so I can fix it if we break it. I’ll be deep in the search bar for a while but I’ll see y’all around. I’m in SoCal btw so mostly going to be wheeling type questions.

    Edit: This will be a joint account in case my wife has questions or comments as well.

    First of all, congratulations. You have the last of the V-6 4.0 liter engines in your 2023. I picked up my 2024 specifically because it was the last production year for the V6 which is a bullet proof engine. Prior to that I had a Tacoma Quad Cab TRD Off-Road with the V6 that I drove for 17 years. Change the oil every 5,000 miles, maintain your fluids, and you'll be good for many many miles and years.
