Black roof rails. Engine tune. Stereo upgrade: speakers, amplifiers, DSP.
Thanks in advance if you read this whole thing.

    TLDR of what’s happening:
Amp ch 1 plays front left AND front right.
Amp ch 2 plays front right only.
Amp ch 3 plays rear left AND rear right.
Amp ch 4 plays rear right only.

    Equipment used:
*Integration interface: Axxess AXAMP-TY3 (to keep factory head unit)
    *DSP: Audio Control DM-810
*Amp for front and rear: Sony XM-4ES
(not sure why the rear hatch speakers play, I thought they were going to be disconnected, but anyway..)
    *Amp for sub: Sony XM-1ES
    *Front speakers: Sony XS-692ES component
    *Rear speakers: Sony XS-160ES coaxial
    *Sub: Alpine S-W8D4

More details (I’ll try to make this as least convoluted as possible):
[Note: I left the sub alone. It seems fine.]

I labeled the RCA cables into the Sony 4 channel amp as they were when it was installed. (So that I would know which RCA cable was originally plugged into channel 1 -4 of the amp.)

I unplugged all RCA cables that were connected to the inputs of the Sony 4 channel amp.

I took each RCA cable and ran it through each channel (no other channels connected) and enabled/disabled the DSPs output configuration to see what happens.

RCA-cable1 would only play from DSP output bank 3-4.
RCA-cable2 would only play from DSP output bank 3-4.
RCA-cable3 would only play from DSP output bank 1-2.
RCA-cable4 would only play from DSP output bank 1-2.

For each RCA cable in each amp channel (one at a time):
Enabling either “DSP input bank 1-2” *OR* 3-4 in the signal summing area of the DSP gave me what seemed like normal sound (playing pink noise).

Enabling both DSP input banks 1-2 AND 3-4 seemed to make the sound louder (I’m assuming because they were summed together).
However, it also seemed like it was too loud so I would only enable DSP input bank 1-2 with DSP output bank 1-2 etc.

I also ended up swapping the position of the RCA cables into the amp so that the DSP input and output banks would match
RCA cable1 playing from DSP output bank 1-2
RCA cable 2 playing from DSP output bank 1-2
RCA cable 3 playing from DSP output bank 3-4
RCA cable 4 playing from DSP output bank 3-4
Not sure if that messes anything up. It seems okay.

So, to make sure my entered DSP timing variables seem logical, I want:
Channel 1 to be front left only.
Channel 2 to be front right only.
Channel 3 to be rear left only.
Channel 4 to be rear right only.

    What I have is:
Amp channel 1 plays front left AND front right.
Amp channel 2 plays front right only (which is what I want)
Amp channel 3 plays rear left AND rear right.
Amp channel 4 plays rear right only (which is what I want)

Thanks for reading through all of this (if you did).

Does anyone have any ideas as to the issue?
Is it something to do with the Integration Interface?

Also, the system does sound good right now with the DSP settings I’m using.

However, I’m just wondering if the DSP timing settings are being impacted since amp channel 1 and channel 3 don’t isolate to one corner only.

    Thanks!

Did you figure it out? Sounds like a little challenge and possibly like it's the integration interface doing that but I'd isolate it by taking it out of the mix (bypassing it just to test). And then do the same with the audiocontrol dsp. If you can that is.
I'd just take a source and put it straight into the amp and see how that behavior is.
