We just bought a 2023 40th Anniversary 4 Runner (White). We are old timers - my wife and I are in our 70's. We get all kinds of looks from young folks that seem to say what the heck are you doing in that car - especially with the Anniversary markings.

Love the 4 Runner. Have two Tundra's - an 03 with 250K miles on her and an 04 with 85K miles. The Anniversary is our "formal" vehicle and for major cruising to other states, etc. And more importantly, it is our car for cruising with our Golden Retriever and often his Golden buddy. The rear electric window, and lowering back seats, and still having legroom for my tall body sold us on the 4R. The Tundra's are Access Cabs, and now the dog(s) are loving cruising even more.

Never realized there are so many 4 Runners around! They are all over the place. We are in Maryland near a Navy Base, so maybe that accounts for why they are so popular - young guys and families.

    Best to all!

Welcome from Frederick, MD! I am 60 and you are never too old to have a 4R. My most favorite sentimental vehicle ever was my 1977 Ford Bronco that I bought when I was 21 years old (1983) while at Ft Bragg, NC. Otherwise this 4R has been my best vehicle to date (almost two years and 34,800 flawless miles). Enjoy!

    I'm 81 and drive a 2021 4Runner.
Wife is 76 and drives a 2014 Xterra. Her previous car was a 1999 Isuzu Trooper.

My first car was a 1946 Chevrolet Suburban. Drove this in High School in the late 50's. It was pretty banged up being a retired paint contractors truck and my Brother had driven it thru High School before me. The 4Runner kinds of reminds me of it.
