    Hey all,

So I bought a 4Runner a couple weeks ago, and I'm in the process of selling my Tacoma, so I figured I'd make the shift from Tacoma owner to 4Runner owner.

I've got a 2011 Trail Edition... it's got a hundred thousand miles on it, but my Tacoma is at 296k, so relatively speaking, it's still just a baby. I'm currently looking for roof racks to haul pipe and lumber for work, and kayaks for fun. And I need to put some new struts on the back end. Rock sliders will be the next thing after that...

    Cheers!

    Stephen

Are they? I've been considering going for the newer TRD wheels with some black on them, or something completely black, since that's what's going on around the rest of the truck. It's not a priority, but when I eventually put better tires on it, I was going to look into it. Tons of them on Craigslist locally. Is there any difference in them, aside from looks?

You won’t have a problem selling them. I sold a set last week.

Thanks! I like what I can see of yours, but I can't figure out how to see a larger image than your avatar. I'm interested in which black wheels you've got on there.

Thanks! I've never even considered red in my 35 years or so of owning cars and driving, but for some reason, I was really into it this time around. I wonder if that preference will stick? o_O

Good morning. The rims are the TRD Sema rims in matte black.

Four matching 4Runners in satin black sounds like overkill. I can only drive one or two at a time!

Heh. But I'd love to see pics of those after you paint them. Might be a cheap solution for what I want... I just looked on CL and there are around 10 posts of people selling wheels for 4Runners here in Austin, and every single one are the same ones I've already got.

Really? I had the hardest time finding these that I have here and I had to have them shipped from California. How cheap are they selling them for?

My bad... the ones I'm seeing all over Craigslist are not the same as the ones on my truck. It's these.

Yeah the ones you have on your truck are hard to find and IMO are the best looking rim Toyota has ever made. Glad I found a set. An if I get a chance I may just buy another set. :D:evil:

Welcome...Is that red? I like the red, but on my end that looks more crimson or cardinal which is also pretty sweet.

Welcome! Great ride. I have a 2012 Trail. Looks like the prior owner swapped out the OG roof rails for the rest of the 5th gen lineup rails.
