    Getting to work on the PVC valve and I have to take the TB out. Looks like this item is crack. I tape it with blue tape. No idea what is this and the part nunber(if possible). What does this unit does?

    3inch lift.
    It is called a dash pot. I’m pretty sure It just keeps the throttle from snapping closed when you let off the gas to shift gears or stop. Tho they can get stuck and cause A high idle sometimes. I took mine off and threw it in the trash like a year ago and have seen no bad effects from removing it.
