I’m about to change my roof rack and don’t want to do any additional drilling in the roof, and I have a sunroof. I’ve been looking at Victory 4x4 and Prinsu. Any others I should look at? Or are recommended?

If you don't want to worry about sealing the roof with silicone go with Sherpa. That was one of the main reasons I went that route.

+1 to @T4Rrunning point that Sherpa has their own rubber gasket piece to go between the rack and roof threads opening. I have the same for the 4th gen. Its awesome. Im in DC so we've seen PLENTY of rain lately. I mean make sure you tighten your stuff adequately (there isnt a strict torque spec) but I have never seen a drop or wetness on my headliner :toast:

Thanks folks, I expect my lunar rock ORP, to land next week, and one of the first needs is a full rack.

Well I live in Los Angeles, so not too much rain. Only one major rainy day and a few scattered showers since putting on the rack, but have washed the car and pressure washed it plenty with no issues.

+1 for Sherpa, I've had mine through some snow and rain this winter, no problems. Having had a Gobi in the past (on a Jeep), my main goals for the 4R was:

    - static load bearing (I use it to carry gas/water and as a platform for photography)
    - low profile, had to fit in my garage
    - low-ish weight. Wanted aluminum to keep the weight down.
    - available (got it in maybe 6 weeks? don't remember, didn't seem long)
    - no silicon schmutz around the mounts.

Super happy with it. I've added some accessories from them since installing the rack. The people are very helpful and everything in stock gets shipped almost immediately.

Very happy with my Gobi Ranger on 2021 TRD Off-road with sunroof. No drilling, just replaces the stock rack rails. VERY long wait, but nice product.

    Brother!

I have the same rack on the same color vehicle, with the same rims! I am slowly working on all the cool accessories like you, just not quite there yet.

All the available racks are pretty decent, just from my research and reading forums and threads like this. My advice is to decide on a style you like (flat, rails, modular, crossbars, etc), then DO YOUR RESEARCH! I did a lot of reading before I got mine, and had it narrowed down to two or three candidates. I ultimately went with Gobi because I like the basket style, AND it comes with a free ladder. Not all racks come with a ladder, so pay attention to that.

My experience with Gobi is that it is a quality product, but they are not very forthcoming with updates. I ordered mine on 3/9/21, and it showed up October 20(...? I think...). I got an email order confirmation, an initial phone call confirmation, and then a phone call before they charged me and shipped it. They don't charge you until it ships, but when it does...I got mine in like 3 days. Very well packaged, and the delivery driver (Select Express) even helped me shove it into my garage until I could install it. Installation was a breeze (I used the written instructions and a video on YouTube). The only part I needed help with was lifting the basket onto the vehicle. Luckily, a dude showed up to my friend's shop and I talked them into helping me. Overall it took me 7 hours or so, because I was taking my time, re-reading the instructions, making sure everything was right before final installation, goofing off with my friend, etc.

I have ordered a few things from Victory4x4, and their product is top notch as well! Customer service is decent as well. I don't doubt that a rack from them would be amazing, it's just not the style I wanted.

Good luck, and keep reading and asking questions.

I ended up going with Prinsu because the low profile stance looks good. Anything taller and i would have had to park outside.!hr or so for assembly and install with a helper.

Went Victory here. Couple blobs of silicone didnt bother me at all.... I like the lower profile, its sturdy as hell, and... looks cool. But its really hard to go wrong. A billion great offerings. Cheers.

Good looking ride! What is your wheel/tire and suspension setup?

EDIT Also, what is your bumper and winch setup? Please and thank you.

Another Sherpa recommendation here. I just switched out my Pro rack/basket for Sherpa's new Needles half rack. I live near the Sherpa headquarters, and they installed it for me. It's rock solid and looks great. I haven't been through much precipitation (or a car wash) with it yet, but based on Sherpa reputation and mounting style, I'm feeling confident about it.

I am just looking at the needles rack since I do not need a full rack and heard so many great things about Sherpa. Any updates on your rack experience?

I love it. Still looks great and feels great. It's been through some storms and a couple high power car washes now. No leaks and the powder coating still looks like new. The install was perfectly done, and the people at Sherpa were cool to deal with throughout the whole process -- very responsive without exception. The crossbars adjust a little further forward than the factory bars, which I like a lot. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rack at all. Happy to answer any specific questions about it.

Went with Prinsu. I hear a ton of BS about them but in the last two years they addressed their production issues. Mine has been unbelievable.

That said I would go with a Gobi or Victory without hesitation as alternatives.

Another Sherpa guy here. Full-length Crestone. The basket types look amazing, but I use mine to carry lumber and such pretty frequently. The flat form factor, thicker side rails, and 700-pound static load rating makes it easy to make weekend trips to the lumber store.

My Sherpa hasn't seen much rain in the past few months, but I've shaken the crap out of it on a lot of washboard roads and trails. Still nice and secure, very pleased with it.

Thank you so much for the quick reply. If you have any pics to share, I would appreciate that since I would love to see one in black and not aluminum. I am still on the fence if I should get a basket style rack because I will mostly use it for camping gear but I don't really like the looks of them..
