Need Help with roof rack/rails on 98 SR5

    Upgraded suspension and 2” lift. My sons ride and we are starting to do some upgrades/mods ourselves.
    My son wants to buy a full length roof rack for his 4runner. However his has a sunroof and the factory rails stop just short of that. Can we put full length rails on in place of the ones we have? Do we need the full length rails to support a full rack? He’s looking at a Prinsu(?) and one other one. I think one is flat and one is a basket (if that matters). Any advise would be much appreciated! Thanks - Bryan
