Need help with coolant leak from reservoir

    With how infrequent the cover comes off, removing the clips is easiest. Buy a bag of replacement clips if the originals don't hold well.

    I appreciate the input. FWIW, I'm only considering a small circular hole matching the radiator cap dimensions just below the cover.

    Thanks. I already have a bag of replacement clips. I've had the cover off a few times for work other than coolant replacement.

    airflow is airflow. The underside of it has straits for laminization. Hard to say what it would effect. You would have to test it which is cumbersome. For the bother..i wouldnt

    The area next to the hood latch is also commonly cut for winch access.

    The 1.3 bar TRD cap raises the coolant boiling point by about 9 deg F. Use the TRD cap only if the rest of your cooling system has been upgraded for "racing development" - CSF all-aluminum radiator, Mishimoto silicone hoses, T-bolt clamps, etc.
