Met up with RC Tuning Fl and got the Overland Tailor Tune. Got the “Medium” setting. Definitely wakes the 4Runner up and helps it feel not so lethargic. Should definitely make a nice difference in the future.

Got the lift, wheels and tires knocked out. Knew it’d be a little aggressive with the offset so I’ll plan on doing either a BMC or BMR. Haven’t decided which yet. Front may end up getting a very modest viper cut. We’ll see.

    Lift: Eibach
    Wheel specs: RRW RR7-S Monoforged 2.0 17x8.5 -12
Tires: Toyo Open Country RT Trail 285/70R17

The next morning I swapped out the center caps for the RRW billet aluminum center caps with the machined logos. Not sure which I like more.

ARK rear mudflap delete kit. Happy with the result. Might have to chop the exhaust tip. Seems like it stands out a little too far now that the flap is gone.

Did a very minor front bumper trim for some more clearance. May still go with a minor viper cut. Would prefer to keep the look as OEM as possible for now. Driver side was very easy to push the fender liner forward and make a new hole. Passenger side… not so much. I think the washer tank reservoir is butted up too close to give it any room to move, but still managed to trim the bumper a little.

before: driver side with wheel turned toward the passenger side

    After: driver side wheel straight

After: passenger side profile with the bumper slightly trimmed

Yeah there’s some rubbing. Front really doesn’t contact too much just driving around town. Rear will be getting a chop soon and probably a little trimming

With 285/70/17 you don't need to chop it. I would keep adjusting the UCAs and maybe trim a little more out front. This could save you some coin for now.

I'll check this out. I'm just currently running on the alignment that the shop did after the lift. There's a local guy that does alignments that everyone here goes to when they have lifted vehicles. Maybe i'll check him out soon

That's always been worth it in my experience. Alignments can make all the difference.

The wheel sizing looks very good. Great choice.

Swapped out the OEM fender end caps for the MinWin3D end caps. Little bit cleaner than trimming the stock ones.
