Hey friends! Looking to see if anyone has experienced this on their 2003 v8 4Runner. Mines a 4x4. I was doing some visual check of any major leaks and found what appears to be a wet or damp area from the driver side starting from what appears to be between the engine block. I did have a valve cover gasket leak that was repaired 2 months ago. Could this be left over leak from the valve cover during its time? I just hope it’s not a headgasket leak which I doubt. Here’s a video for visuals.

Clean it up with some oven cleaner and than monitor it. It very well could be residual leaking before the VC seal replacement...however, perhaps the ozring on your dip stick is leaking oil past...?
