My first 4Runner

Two years ago in September of 2018 I bought my first 4Runner. I have had Toyota trucks off and on over the years starting with a 1979. I know about the legendary reliability.
This is a 2019 Off Road Premium with KDDS. Personally, I really appreciate the KDDS. The color is midnight.

This was brand new.

This was after the kit from ToyTec was installed, in September 2019. I hated the nosedive when braking, plus I thought the rake did not complement the look of the 4Runner at all. The front has Bilstein 6112 series shock kit, and the rear has a pair of Bilstein 5100 shocks with the factory springs.

It took me a while to figure out wheels. I finally decided in November of 2019 on Fuel Blitz D673 wheels with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 275/65/18XL. There was a small amount of trimming in the front as at full lock on the steering there was some slight rubbing. The wheels were roadforce balanced and put a set of new TPMS sensors on as the original wheels were transferred to my 2015 Tacoma. Now I am really happy with the appearance of the 4Runner.

Two days after the lockdown started, I had to make a trip to the Boise area for work. My boss did not want me to fly, and I didn't really want to either, so road trip it is. Also got a chance to test out all those nice four wheel drive functions - especially the crawl control.

I am super happy with this truck.

I was going through the paperwork because I'm an old codger and couldn't positively remember... I want to say 2.55 on the 6112s in front. Nothing in the back other than installing the 5100s with the original springs. Those were a Toytec kit part number 47-25968 for the fronts. The clips were on the upper setting (7 on the driver side and 6 on the passenger).
