My build (so far...)

Bought a brand new 2024 TRD Offroad Premium while the 5th Gen 4.0 V6 rigs were still available, Solar Octane\Black SofTex: Sold the Premium rims, bought TRD rims (on sale); Installed LFD crossbars; Installed TRD Pro front skid plate (modified for KDSS); Installed RCI square tube rock sliders; Installed Bilstein 6112/5100 setup front and rear, leveling the truck; Installed LFD 3/4 rack side rails and more crossbars; Installed Westcott ladder; Installed Toyo Open Country III 255/80/17 (skinny 32's). Had everything fine tuned by PURE 4x4 in Roseville CA. Loving it.

 

Welcome and nice 4Runner! Solar Octane's my favourite colour from Toyota followed by Lunar Rock. Some say Solar Octane is too bright, but I disagree. In all of Toyota's history of paint colours, THIS is the one they mastered! Hope you have many great adventures in your new 4Runner!

Aren’t 255/80’s a 33” tire?

 

Awesome build! Looks great! How do you like the tires? I am seriously considering this exact tire when I need new tires in about 15k. Have you had a chance to check your hwy mileage with them? I am hoping that by the tire being skinnier it would affect the mpg as much as a 33x11.5 or 12 Thanks!

 

I love that color. I was THIS close to buying a 24 with that color but the Wifezilla vetoed it citing the fact that we already have two 5th gens...
