Hello all, I will attach an old picture of my original 1990 4R that I purchased brand new and was stolen and written off! Insurance replaced my truck with a brand new one that I picked up in Victoria B.C. at the dealership. Well that replacment went about 290,000 kms with me before I sold it , both were 2Dr models.

Last winter down in Arizona I purchased a 4dr 1990 SR5 with 5VZ engine swap and 5 speed and transfer case swap from automatic. This summer I had the runner painted and all nice and mint in Single stage polyurethane, black paint. As it was a Az truck all its life it's not rusty anywhere even the frame is mint original toyota black. The hood was also modified to fit the 3.4 better and not look like a WRX Subaru.

    My question for you guys?
I'm wondering what you guys recommend for seats that fit right and bolt up or with brackets. Mine have sun fade and sag from the climate in Az. Back in the replacment runner I eventually put MK2 Toyota Supra GTS seats in it covered to match and they bolted right in. Don't have any of those around. Has anyone tried seats out of the newer runners or Hilux - taco's???If you have something for me I will be back in Arizona in a few weeks for the winter and please PM Me.

    Thanks guys.

    Reg
