MORE CASTER?

Assuming an after market set of upper control arms will allow more caster!?
The problem is twitchy directional stability on highway.
What control arms are reasonably priced and how big of a job to replace?

These are pretty much the standard in the industry. SPC ball joints can be adjusted to get more caster. Uniballs require maintenance. All these have bushings that will need to be greased every so often. I've been a Total Chaos guy for years, but there are plenty of people happy with the JBAs as well as the other brands. SPC had some QC issues years ago but I think they ironed that out or Filthy Motorsports would not carry them.

Oh yea I forgot to say Welcome! The difficulty of the job is a relative term in how mechanically inclined you are. I know people who could probably do the job in an hour. The first set I installed took me several hours. But it's really not a bad job overall. Good Luck!

 

Yep, more caster sounds like it will solve your issue and aftermarket UCA's are the way to do that.....assuming all your other suspension components are working properly (LCA's, bushings, ect....).

MI-FL off roader has the UCA suggestions covered. If I were getting a pair today, I think I'd go with the Dirt King ball joint myself.
