The Park has a test hill where you need enough speed to make it to the top but not so much speed that you go airborne and roll your vehicle.

Around the 13 ish minute mark, this 4Runner owner says he tried 4 times to get up the hill but never made it.

Seems like you need Traction Control and Stability Control disabled in 4 High to make it, along with aired down tires.

I grew up in Illinois and moved to Missouri. My sister & brother in-law on 2 sides all live in Michigan.

Looking around some more, looks like the Tin Cup ORV Route might be an interesting place to check out.

About 1.5 hours from my sister's house in Grand Haven, MI.

Been there a bunch. Love it! 4 hour drive for me. Haven’t had da Runna there yet, next year. Sand is deceiving at speed, can miss dips and small drop offs, my experience mostly on atvs. Seen subarus and all kinds there.
Correct air down, traction control off, that will kill you. But take beach items if it’s summer. Lake Michigan is beautiful. It’s fun to sit back and watch the big boys own those hills.
My last 4 door rubicon and xterra years ago, I would drive around the flatter parts in 2wd just because I could.
several camp grounds and just 2 or 3 hotels in the area. Luddington is about 30 min drive north is nice. Awesome back roads to get there.
Weekends are busy. Get a flag and enjoy!
