Heck I know your out there seeing other 4runners on the roads on the trails at the beach's everywhere.
Its like not being able to drive 2 miles without passing a Dunks. Chances are you will see more 4runners. There are 4 on my street alone I own 2 of them lol. You can probably guess where I'm at by my handle. You know that town with a Rock that you took a field trip to with your school. Any way I'd like to hear about good places to go off roading here in Mass. I'm familiar with Sandy Neck in Barnstable, Duxbury beach, and of course Plymouth Long beach. You may just see me at the beaches or near the water somewhere. upload_2026-1-8_23-26-20.jpgupload_2026-1-8_23-26-31.jpgupload_2026-1-8_23-26-43.jpgupload_2026-1-8_23-26-55.jpgupload_2026-1-8_23-27-5.jpg

I usually get an after Labor Day pass for Sandy Neck. The fishing has been pretty poor the last few years.

They have a "soft gate" policy, even though the hours of operation are stated if your a fisherman they let you come and go as you please, as long as you close the gate behind you.

Well to be honest the fishing has sucked for the past three years (from shore) all around.

You definitely need to buy an ORV pass if you want to drive on the beach whether you are fishing or not. You can stay on the beach later than everyone else if you are actively fishing. Most or all of the beach ends up being closed due to birds for most of the summer.
