I recently installed a Hornady AR Rapid Safe to my 4Runner. I love it but found a problem. The area on top or the safe is unusable area because it is very slick. I didn't want a permanent solution in case I need to drop the seats and carry something large. I got a plastic tub from Grainger (32"x15") and neodymium magnetic feet from Amazon. Just wanted to throw it out there for project ideas. Works great, easily removed and holds secure. I added some vacuum caps to the bolts so they don't tear up shopping bags.IMG_20181105_231016.jpg IMG_20181105_233210.jpg IMG_20181105_233219.jpg IMG_20181105_234201.jpg

Actually just a quick question is the whole "safe" or box just freely sitting there or does it bolt securely somehow and if it does exactly how?

It has bolts running through the body as well as a cable run around the rear seat frames. The position it is in is also a pain to get to as the bolts protrude above the spring cups. Hard to remove.....harder to install in the middle of the night, alone with a head lamp.
